These are the comments of netizens in this ABS-CBN photo with this speculation.
Will the network ALL TV be the newest partner of ABS-CBN in their endeavor to widen their reach in terms of content creation?
Ever since the ABS-CBN encountered denial in their franchise renewal bid, their approached changed. They turned to content creation and seeking partnerships here and abroad to widen their reach and create more content.
They intend to live up the tagline of their network: “In the service of the Filipino.”
Carlo Katigbak, president and CEO of ABS-CBN Corp said previously that they are “willing to work with any partner, whether in free, pay TV or online streaming”. True to the words of the company CEO, they’ve really partnered with several companies including their former rivals.
They have partnered with Jeff Bezos’ Amazon Prime Video to produce series and made other partnership deals with Netflix, Hong Kong-based Viu, and Youtube. ABS-CBN was also able to ink content partnerships with Pangilinan-owned TV5, PIE Channel, AMBS, and A2Z, founded by Bro. Eddie Villanueva.
ABS-CBN’s content agreement with TV5 is for five years.
With all these partnerships made, will they also partner with the network that filled the channel they left when ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal bid got denied?
A photo is currently circulating on X (formerly Twitter) and the blurred one in the background was similar to the logo of ALL TV. In the post spreading online, the caption say, “Lahat ay magsasaya dahil may magbabalik-tahanan ngayong 2024. Mas lalawak na muli ang ating pagsasama, mga Kapamilya. Abangan!”
Netizens have various comments about this matter. Some are happy while some are having second thoughts if this is going to be good. There were those who expressed their hard objection.
