Female Joggers Alarmed After Motorcycle Rider Allegedly Commits Lewd Act in Mandaluyong
A motorcycle rider was caught on camera allegedly committing a lewd act while watching female joggers in Mandaluyong City.
Recently, Francesca Aquino, a Facebook user, shared a video showing the motorcycle rider allegedly engaging in indecent behavior toward them while they were jogging. The post quickly went viral and drew various reactions from the online community.
According to Aquino, she had recently returned to walking for exercise and decided to bring her cousin along. The supposed healthy outdoor activity soon turned into a disturbing experience when they noticed a motorcycle rider repeatedly passing by and following them.
Aquino said she initially became suspicious after seeing the rider circle the area several times. Her cousin later informed her that the man was calling her attention while allegedly exposing himself. Realizing what was happening, Aquino confronted the rider and shouted at him.
The incident reportedly took place near Maysilo Circle in Barangay Plainview, Mandaluyong City. The victims reported the incident to local authorities. They were also able to face the suspect, who was identified as a tricycle driver from Santa Ana, Manila.
Authorities are now looking into the case. Reports indicated that the suspect allegedly has a mental health condition, although police are still verifying the validity of his claimed status and related documents.
Further information revealed that the man had reportedly been detained in the past over similar complaints. It has raised concerns among residents and online users who fear that other victims may have experienced the same behavior.
Aquino also encouraged anyone who may have encountered the same individual to come forward and report their experiences. Meanwhile, authorities continue to investigate the incident and determine the appropriate legal action.
