Comedienne Alora Sasam received bashing after posting a meme a day after the KathNiel breakup was confirmed.

Alora is one of Kathryn’s close friends in the entertainment industry. There had been several instances when Alora was spotted with Kathryn and Daniel. She received a heartwarming gesture from Kathryn last Christmas of 2021.

Alora has that vibrant personality that would make her easily establish a bond with other celebrities. She is not afraid to be called the “Pambansang Third Wheel” because of her closeness with some celebrity couples.

In a recent social media post, Alora Sasam shared also her thoughts on the recently confirmed KathNiel breakup. She chose to put humor in her post and shared a meme. In the caption of her post, Alora wrote that December 1 is now the “Philippine National Shot Puno Day.”

In her post, her photo with Kathryn was shared. Kathryn had a dialogue box stating “Shot puno mamaya. Bawal tumakas.” Alora’s dialogue box answered, “Pwede iwan ko na lang atay ko? Balikan ko bukas.”

This did not sit well with the KathNiel fans because, for them, this is disrespect, and it was inappropriate for Alora to post a meme amid the feelings of hurt from the breakup confirmation. Some said that was insensitive for her to post a meme while her friend is mending from the breakup.

Following the criticism, Alora chose to delete her post and apologized. “Hello po, sorry, insensitive joke po. Mali ako. Di na po mauulit. Sorry po. Deleted na po,” she wrote in her reply to a netizen.
