Michelle Dee had a Top 10 finish and Vice Ganda has this to say about her performance.
Kapamilya comedian-host Vice Ganda and other It’s Showtime hosts congratulate Michelle Dee on her Miss Universe 2023 performance.
Miss Universe 2023 PH bet Michelle Dee was eager to reach the question and answer portion of the pageant. Unfortunately, she was not able to make it. Her journey ended as among the Top 10 finalists.
The question and answer portion is among the things she trained hard for.
Despite not getting the result she wanted, a win for her is making Filipinos proud of her performance. Her Top 10 placement put the country back in the semifinal round. Dee was also named one of the Gold winners in the pageant’s “Voice for Change” category. She also won the Spirit of Carnival Award given by pageant sponsor Carnival Cruises, as well as the Miss Universe fan vote.
The Miss Universe 2023 winner is Shennis Palacios of Nicaragua.
Meanwhile, the country is proud of her. Many believed that she deserved a spot on the Top 5 but a decision has been made. Among those who expressed happiness for her are the hosts of It’s Showtime led by superstar comedian Vice Ganda who really watched the pageant.
“Ang ating bansa at mga kababayan ay proud na proud sa ‘yo,” Vice Ganda told Dee based on the video.
“Binigay niya ang lahat… Makikita mo talaga na ginalingan niya.”

They gushed about her performance in the swimwear competition and appreciated how culturally rooted her evening gown was during the finals. It was a tribute to Apo Wang Od, the country’s last mambabatok. This alone spoke volumes as to how she prepared for this pageant.
