IT’S SHOWTIME MAGPASIKAT 2023 – Here’s the grand and all about healing performance of Team Anne Curtis, Ogie Alcasid, and Ryan Bang.
The Magpasikat week, as part of It’s Showtime’s anniversary celebration has already started. The nostalgic and heartwarming Magpasikat performance of Team Vhong Navarro, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz kicked it off.
This performance was followed by the magical and visually pleasing Magpasikat performance of Team Karylle, Amy, Lassy, and MC.
This Wednesday, the group scheduled to perform was the team of Anne Curtis, Ogie Alcasid, and Ryan Bang. For 14 years, Anne has been known as the one who always produces death-defying and this year, she did it again – expected but still always a surprise as to how she can push her teammates to do something they haven’t done before.
Bang did an interpretative dance while Alcasid did an aerial stunt while singing “Huwag Kang Matakot” with Dingdong Avanzado, Nyoy Volante, and Jed Madela.
Anne and her sister Jasmine also performed together by doing an aerial spiral dance act. They ended their performance by singing an original song that is about healing.
The message of their performance stems from the meme “The World Is Healing” but in the process of completing their production, they realized a deeper meaning of this. With everything that has happened and currently happening, people need healing.
Anne said, “Everyone has their struggle. Let’s pray for healing, everyone needs healing, the world needs healing, we all need healing.”
