Surely, everyone knows that what Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna have was a whirlwind romance. He had just known her for a few months when he asked her to marry him. But fast forward, they have now been married for roughly three years.
Ellen and Derek are the usual sweet couple on social media. They are sweet with each other and post sweet things about each other but they show it in their own unique way.
In a previous article, Ellen revealed the baby plans with Derek and said that they are actually trying. This is also the reason why she is not returning to show business work anytime soon.
Speaking about marrying Ellen, Derek revealed in an interview with Vicki Belo that they had this phase when they both agreed to not marry. But this was also the same thing that changed his perspective about marrying her.
According to him, with all the other girls he’s been with in the past years, the easiest thought to marry was with Ellen.
He said that no one could seem to pull the trigger in him to settle down. His past girlfriends would often bring him tensed up whenever they brought up weddings. He immediately has doubts but these things were absent with Ellen.
What has no one ever done to him that only Ellen did was show her bad side first. He is used to seeing people around him show him their good sides but Ellen does not. He showed him her worst and that was how she got him.
And one funny thing about their story, he shared this one time when they got into an argument. It was a bit intense which led Ellen to break up with him.
Laughing at this memory, he recalled that they were not even officially a couple yet at that time when she told him they were breaking up. He said based on the video, “She was just like ‘ayoko na sa’yo, maghiwalay na tayo’. Okay lang sa’kin di pa naman tayo.”
But two days after this incident, they made up.
