Andrea Brillantes talked about her career in showbiz
Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes said that she is not lucky when it comes to her showbiz career and here’s the reason behind this.
Andrea started her career as an actress when she was just a little girl. Now, she is one of the prime young actresses of ABS-CBN. She has come a long way from being a child star. Over the years, she has done a lot of projects and endorsements that boosted her career.
Her new project is a primetime series Senior High which also features other former child stars like Xyriel Manabat and Zaijian Jaranilla.
In a recent article published in The Philippine Star, three of the most popular young stars in the Philippine entertainment industry were featured. It is known to many that Andrea Brillantes, Xyriel Manabat, and Zaijian Jaranilla proved that they could run a show on their own.
The three of them already starred in their own teleseryes when they were much younger. They became household names with their drama series that showcased their talents.
In Andrea’s part, she was able to handle to “awkward stage” in showbiz when she transformed from being a child star to a teen star. She also had the chance to be part of the famous kiddie gag show Goin Bulilit. Then, she became a teen star in her afternoon series Kadenang Ginto.
With what she has achieved in the entertainment industry. so far, she said that “lucky” is not the word to describe what she went through.
“First of all, thank you so much for calling me lucky, but, I don’t think I’m lucky ’cause I think I’ve earned this spot also after working for more than a decade,” she said. On the other hand, Andrea Brillantes expressed gratitude for everything that she has. “But thank you so much. Thank you so much,” the Kapamilya actress said.
Previously, Andrea was asked to react to the “Next Important Star” moniker being associated with her right now. She said that she is not putting her heart into this kind of thing.
