With the suspension of It’s Showtime still in the process, Vice Ganda seems to be unbothered by it.
Kapamilya superstar-comedian Vice Ganda unbothered attitude amid the issue of It’s Showtime was noticed by the viewers.
The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) suspended “It’s Showtime” for 12 airing days. The MTRCB’s decision to suspend Showtime stemmed from the complaints against the show regarding the July 25 episode.
In an ABS-CBN statement released on Monday, the Kapamilya network said that they will submit a motion for reconsideration as they believe that the noontime show has not committed any violation.
ABS-CBN expressed that they will continue working with the MTRCB to ensure that the show will continue to bring joy and entertainment to the viewers. The complaints were about the cake incident of hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez which received a summon from the MTRCB.
In the latest episode of Showtime, the hosts went on as the ruling will still be contested by the MR which means that the ruling is still not final and official. The show went on as usual despite the suspension and “Prince of Acoustic OPM” Jireh Lim even opened the show.
“At habang nakabinbin ang Motion for Reconsideration, ang desisyon ng suspension ng programa ay hindi pa pinal at epektibo,” says Hilario.
And making a big entrance was Vice Ganda who was wearing an all-pink outfit. Vhong Navarro teased him and joked about the black outfit he thought that the comedian would wear following the suspension announcement.
“Ganyan talaga, pag marami kang blessings, para kang namumukadkad na isang rosas…” Vice said in response. The comedian was full of energy.
In one moment, during the “Rampanalo” segment of the show, a song with “wala akong pake…” lyrics was played in the background.
