Ogie Diaz has this reaction to his friend Vice Ganda’s conviction
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz expressed admiration for his friend Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda for not giving up on Kapamilya star Awra Briguela.
Vice is the manager of Awra who went controversial because of her involvement in a fight that happened in a bar at Poblacion in Makati City. The younger celebrity was detained. Reportedly, it was Vice who helped her get out of the detention center, as well as the case filed against her.
Just recently, Vice stressed in an interview that Awra is still under his management. This is contrary to the rumors that he already left his responsibility as a manager of the Kapamilya star.
In line with Vice Ganda’s decision to continue to be Awra Briguela’s manager, Ogie Diaz shared his reaction. Based on the article in Bandera, Ogie expressed admiration to his friends for still supporting Awra despite what happened.
“Ako, hahangaan ko dun si Vice. Kasi ganun naman talaga. ‘Pag ikaw manager talaga. Sa lahat ng pagkakataon, kailangan andun ka sa alaga mo,” Ogie, who has been a talent manager for many years now, said.
He also said that this is something that the talent is expecting his or her manager will do for him or her. Ogie stressed that as managers, they are also expecting their talents to behave.
“So itong pagkakataong ito na hindi binitiwan ni Vice si Awra, kahanga-hanga ‘yon bilang manager si Vice,” Ogie said. With this, Ogie reminded talents to be aware of their actions once they experienced this kind of kindness from their managers.
He said that this should be the catalyst for the talent’s improvement and effort to be better. “Dapat, iiwasan mo na yung kung ano ‘yung feeling mo traumatizing sa’yo. At ‘yun nga ang nangyari… Bilang ako rin ay manager, maganda ‘yun. Kahanga-hanga ‘yung kay Vice,” Ogie Diaz said.
