Last December 2022, rumors about the engagement of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and actor Sam Milby emerged. The rumors about Sam and Catriona’s engagement persisted due to some details people have seen online.
And this February 2023, the couple finally revealed the truth.
In a sweet photo, Sam confirmed his engagement to Catriona by declaring that he has finally put a ring on it. The beauty queen, on the other hand, expressed that she was living in an answered prayer with her best friend.
And recently, in an interview, the actor was asked about their wedding.
He expressed that he feels both the enjoyment and stress of the nitty-gritty of wedding preparations. According to him, it was much more stressful than they have expected it to be.
While they are both hands-on regarding the preparation, the actor admitted that he was actually just letting his future wife take the lead when it comes to decision-making. What Catriona wants happens and as for him, what he just truly wants is for their big day to be truly special.
“All the meetings, almost… Siyempre, pag free ako, I’m always gonna be part of the meetings. But I’m wanting it to be her day so siya yung mas… siya yung mga pumipili ng mga ano [details],” he said.
Meanwhile, the actor remained mum about some other details like the wedding date but he hinted that it’s still quite far. To recall, the couple was first spotted together in 2018 which ignited the dating rumors and in 2020, the two confirmed their romantic relationship.
As for their future life together, they have been talking about it and also already preparing for this new chapter in their lives.
Previously, Catriona shared in a vlog a tour of her house which many people loved. She calls her own place “Casa De Gray“.
