THE BARN BAGUIO – Serving exquisite comfort food in a place with an exquisite view is The Barn which is located in Baguio City.

From bountiful breakfasts to magnificent mains, The Barn is set to satisfy your appetites. A cup of rich hot chocolate is surely the best to match the breeze of the Philippines’ Summer Capital.

USDA Angus 28-days dry-aged rib-eye platter, Five cheese fondue platter, and Japanese Kurobuta pork chop with banana blossom relish are just some of their signature dishes.

The restaurant “stands firm with the promise of delicious food and captivating views” and “showcases the beauty that ‘old’ Baguio was known for – the tall, pine trees and lush greenery seated atop the rest of the city”.

According to their site, reservations are required to avoid “disappointment upon arrival at having to wait”. Walk-in guests will be accommodated if they are able to.

Based on their menu, they have Breakfast Skillet and Platter that comes with Sunrise Bites. They have Classic Steak and Eggs, Angus Tapa, Benguet Sunrise, Benguet Sunriser, Adobo Flakes Rice Scramble, Daing Na Apahap, Tortang Talong Omelette, Smoked Etag Arroz Caldo, Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes, and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict.

They also have choices for appetizers, soups, salads, bruschetta, sandwiches, and pasta. Their steak platters are good for two people. The Kurobuta Platters are Kurobuta Tomahawk Platter, Grilled Belly Platter, and Prok Chop With Banana Blossom Relish.

The main courses to choose from include Classic Baby Back Ribs, Pan-Fried Catch Of The Day, Crispy Salted Egg Chicken with Kaffir Infusion, and Grilled Salmon Kaffir Citrus Glaze.

They also serve hot chocolates, coffees, teas, cold drinks, fresh fruit shakes, beer and cocktails, and wines. The desserts on their menu are different flavors of ice cream, Ooey Gooey Yuzu Cake A La Mode, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Tarta De Queso, and many others.
