Anne Curtis, Ogie Alcasid To Be Seen Again In GMA, Here Are Their Statements

These are the statements of Anne Curtis and Ogie Alcasid as Showtime will now be aired on GMA.

ANNE CURTIS – Its Showtime hosts Anne Curtis and Ogie Alcasid expressed gratitude to GMA for welcoming their show.

In a previous article, the partnership of ABS-CBN and GMA has been formalized. A week after announcing the move of Showtime, a contract signing happened which was graced by the big bosses of the two networks.

Showtime hosts Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, Jhong Hilario, Amy Perez, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpus, Ryan Bang, Jacqui Gonzaga, Ion Perez, Cianne Dominguez, MC Muah, and Lassy were present in the event.

And in this event, GMA exec expressed that this event marks the end of the war in television. To recall, ABS-CBN and GMA used to be the biggest rivals back when the Kapamilya network still has their franchise.

And during the event, former GMA stars Anne Curtis and Ogie Alcasid were made to speak.

Alcasid shared in his speech that he was about to miss this chance but made way in order to be present. He is bound abroad for a concert with his wife but rebooked his flight because he really wanted to be there.

“Gustong-gusto ko pong makita ‘yung mga dati kong boss. I really wanted to see you again, so refreshing to see you. It was really nice to see you,” he said.

Apart from seeing his former bosses, he also wanna be beside ABS-CBN executives for making this possible and for fighting hard for their loyal viewers. He added, “I’m sure narinig niyo na ‘yung kasabihan na, ‘maliit lang naman ang industriya natin,’ nagkikita-kita lang din naman tayo, and today proves that.”

As for Anne, she expressed her gratitude to GMA for giving them a platform “to continue their journey in making the madlang pipol happy and keeping their noontime habit in their homes”.
