Ogie Alcasid shared his thoughts on the situation It’s Showtime is in now
Singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid said that he is one with whatever trials It’s Showtime went through and will face in the future.
Ogie is among the newest addition to the Showtime family. The singer-songwriter has done a lot of shows already on ABS-CBN from the time he decided to transfer from GMA.
With the current situation that the Kapamilya noontime show is going through right now, Ogie also shared his thoughts.
It was recently announced that It’s Showtime’s block timer contract with TV5 is set to end on June 30. The Kapatid network prioritized its new partnership with TVJ and this means that the Kapamilya noontime show will no longer be aired on TV5.
Then, it was announced that It’s Showtime will be aired on GTV, a network also owned by GMA.
In a recent article by entertainment writer Jun Lalin in Abante, he shared his conversation with Ogie Alcasid about the Kapamilya noontime show.
The singer-songwriter agrees with Vice Ganda when the latter said that the Kapamilya noontime show is going through a tough time now. “Kahit bago pa lang ako sa family ng ‘It’s Showtime’, kaisa ko sila sa lahat ng mga pagsubok ng show. Nguni’t alam naman natin na ang lahat at may dahilan at tanging Panginoon lamang ang may alam,” Ogie added.
Despite the hard times, the husband of Regine Velasquez said that the Madlang People, or their avid viewers, are still super solid. With this, Ogie is very much thankful
“Kailanman ay hindi bumitiw. Sa kanilang lahat, taos pusong pasasalamat talaga,” the singer-songwriter said. Ogie Alcasid is definitely excited to start their show on GTV.
