The Unihertz 8849 Tank 5 Pro was officially announced in the third quarter of 2026. The 5G-ready rugged smartphone is fueled with a Li-Po 17600 mAh battery + 120W wired + 25W reverse wired charging. It was launched in a single color, Black.

The dimension of the phone is 177.10 x 87.00 x 33.80 mm, and it weighs 715 grams. It comes with a screen size of 6.73 inches and an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels.
Platform:
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e Octa-core processor coupled with an Immortalis-G720 MC12 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on the Android 16 operating system. It is packed with 18GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
