Paolo Contis has this statement for his bashers
Kapuso actor Paolo Contis dared his bashers to say on his face the negative things that they are saying about him.
Paolo is probably one of the most bashed celebrities in the Philippines. The negative comments about him on social media were hyped up when it was confirmed that he and his former partner LJ Reyes broke up.
Even his relationship with actress Yen Santos is bashed by many netizens. The recent bashing that he received was due to his decision to be part of the new Eat Bulaga on GMA.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Paolo Contis reiterated that bashing can’t get to his core.
“As I’ve said, bashing, wala, wala sa akin. Hindi ko alam, paulit-ulit akong tinatanong. Hindi ba kayo naniniwala na wala akong pakialam sa namba-bash sa akin? Totoo, wala talaga. Kasi, alam ko naman ang mali ko,” the actor said.
He added that he is willing to listen to people who really know him but he is filtering the words thrown at him when it comes from the people who do not even know him.
“Kung nakausap ko na ang nanay ko, kung nakausap ko na ang malalapit sa akin, these are the people whom I listen to. But other than that, I strive to be better, without posting. Kasi, hindi ko siya style,” the actor explained.
He added that he does not intend to post good things about him just to win the hearts of his bashers. Paolo also said that all the bashings against him are just 10 percent of the things that people know about him.
The Kapuso actor admitted that at times, he would be surprised if where the bashing and the negative things were coming from.
Then, Paolo Contis has this dare to his bashers. “Kasi, hindi sila masasapak sa mukha habang sinasabi nila yon. Subukan nilang sabihin sa harap ko yon kung ano ang mangyayari sa kanila. Kaya tumapang ang mga tao, e. Pero kapag tinanong mo ang ano, zero, zero! Ay, imbento, tigilan ako.”
