Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk Will Fight in a Cage Match

“Battle of CEOs” – Mark Zuckerberg Will Fight Elon Musk in a Cage Match

Twitter owner and the CEO of Tesla Elon Musk will fight Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a cage fight.

Twitter CEO and Tesla (TSLA) CEO Musk recently stated that he would be “up for a cage fight” with Meta CEO Zuckerberg. In an Instagram story on Wednesday, Zuckerberg responded by publishing a photo of Musk’s tweet with the caption “Send Me Location.”

Musk then replied to a tweet on the battle by Alex Heath, editor of the tech news website Verge, with “Vegas Octagon” — a reference to the Las Vegas venue where the Ultimate Fighting Championship is held. Dana White, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), has verified that both Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are serious about their ‘cage fight’.

White claims to have spoken with both Elon and Musk and that they appear to be ready to enter the ring. In an interview with TMZ Sports, Dana White stated that Mark called him and asked, “Is he serious?”‘.

White immediately called Musk and asked if he was serious, to which Musk answered, “Yes, I’m dead serious.” White continues, “This will be the biggest fight ever in the history of the world.”

‘It will be bigger than anything that has ever been done,’ he said, adding that the fight will shatter all pay-per-view records. White then confirms that the fight’s revenues will be donated to charity.

Musk is physically larger than Zuckerberg, but the Meta CEO is a jiu-jitsu practitioner who won gold and silver in a tournament in May. Oddspedia, a sports betting platform, compiled odds from various bookies, including Bovada, Bet Online, and Ladbrokes, and determined that Zuckerberg had an 83% chance of winning the fight.

The two have previously fought over a high spot on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index before Musk became the world’s richest man. They had a very public spat in 2017 over the future of artificial intelligence.

Musk had previously cautioned about the perils of artificial intelligence, portraying it as a possibly existential threat to humanity. Zuckerberg, on the other hand, was far more hopeful.
