ISKO MORENO – The newest addition to the new Eat Bulaga is Isko Moreno and this is what he did when he joined the show.
A new set of hosts has been introduced in Eat Bulaga and the latest to join the group is former Manila mayor Isko Moreno. After TVJ’s departure, the other hosts followed them and the show immediately hired new hosts to keep the show going.
The new faces received backlash. But for Joey De Leon, he has nothing against the hosts. He has seen the show and he doesn’t have anything negative to say about it. Work is work.
Now, will Isko be a regular host of the noontime show?
In the new EB, he has a segment called “G sa Gedli”. However, he is just testing the waters yet. According to Isko’s manager, Wowie Roxas, Moreno was actually asked to be a host but he has yet to sign a contract.
As much as we all know, the new set of hosts included Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, Paolo Contis, Betong, Buboy Villar, and Alexa Miro.
In a recent interview based on a report from PEP, he did not need to ask TVJ’s permission to join the show but he reached out to them. He sent a message to them through a mutual friend and accordingly, they’re okay. What he did was a matter of respect to the triumvirate.
“I respect them. And one way or another, tayong mga Filipino na nabuhay ngayon, aging bahagi rin ng buhay natin and Tito, Vic, and Joey,” he said.
The former mayor also admitted that filling in the roles they left is a big challenge. They may not achieve or surpass what they did but what matters is they continue to entertain the people through the show.
“Wala naman, okay naman daw. Sabi ng kaibigan ko, okay lang. Because we treat each other with mutual respect,” he said when asked about TVJ’s response to his message.
