Cristy Fermin has these claims about Eat Bulaga
Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin shared in her recent YouTube show that production people in Eat Bulaga were given a mass resignation order and the pioneer hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon will be taken out.
Rumor has it that the longest-running noontime show will undergo rebranding and this included the changes in current hosts. Amid this issue, the management of the show, as well as the Kapuso network, haven’t released yet a statement.
Apparently, this is the reason why more and more versions of speculations surfaced on social media.
In a recent episode of Cristy’s Showbiz Now Na, she mentioned that Tony Tuviera, the one formerly handling Eat Bulaga under TAPE Inc., was replaced by Romy Jalosjos’s children in managing the production company.
With the supposed new management, the show will allegedly be rebranded. After the takeover, Cristy said that an order to do mass resignation was given.
“Binigyan daw po ng mass resignation ang lahat ng mga miyembro ng produksyon. Lahat ng miyembro ng produksyon, may mass resignation na dapat gawin. At ang kanilang sabi: ‘Babalikan na lang namin ang kung sino ang gusto namin kuhanin,’” the showbiz writer said.
She added that this is sort of a “test of loyalty” because people working in the noontime show will choose whether they want to remain with the new management or leave with the former TAPE Inc. CEO.
Cristy also shared that the legendary TVJ trio will be taken out of the show and that they will create a new show. “Aalis ng ‘Eat Bulaga!’ at gagawa sila ng panibagong noontime show na ang title ay ‘Dabarkads,’” the showiz writer said.
She also clarified that Willie Revillame will not be part of the show, contrary to the speculations circulating online.
