Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo has been in the industry for 22 years now and she is considered a movie queen. She made several films with successful outcomes. And most of her years were spent in the Kapamilya network.

And for this length of career, she surely has experienced a lot. And one of these memorable ones she had was the one with Carmi Martin.

In a new vlog of Mariel Padilla, she shared the story behind her closeness with the actress through the “Two Truths, One Lie” challenge. She fondly recalled it and shared it with Mariel.

In the video, she shared that this incident happened when she was just 17 years old. She has this scene with Carmi which was shot several times. And in this particular scene, they were required to do a slapping scene.

She has to be slapped by the actress seven times per take. It was taken several times that her lips got wounded from the slaps and the accessories of Carmi’s hands.

“Alam mo yung pumupunta ako sa dressing room ko yung totoong umiiyak na ‘ko kasi naaawa na ako sa sarili ko. 17 years old lang ako nun… Kaya aging close kami ni Tita Carmi kasi si Tita Carmi ang umiiyak for me,” she shared.

This only goes to show that behind their glamorous image to the public, they have these experiences that will also challenge them.

In the many projects she made, she was also slapped by male actors and all of these she had to endure for her craft and passion.
