PAGASA Says Easterlies to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH
LATEST WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that easterlies will bring isolated rain over parts of the country.
On Tuesday (April 25, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that Easterlies will be affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.

The Easterlies / Localized Thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Visayas, Palawan, including the Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.
Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon will experience similar weather condition.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will affect the country’s weather condition.

The weather agency has warned the residents in the affected areas for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the entire country will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
PAGASA said that the country can expect heat indices of 26 to 37°C in key cities especially in Iloilo.
“Heat cramps and heat exhaustion are possible. Continuing activity could lead to heat stroke,” the weather authority said.
Butuan City, Cabanatuan City, Muñoz City, Cotabato City, Dagupan City, Davao City, Dipolog City, General Santos City, and Cavite City will have a heat index of 36°C.
