The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that easterlies will bring cloudy skies and isolated rains over parts of PH.
On Monday (April 24, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Easterlies will be affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.
The Easterlies / Localized Thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Visayas, Palawan, including the Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.
Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition.
“Sa pag-iral pa din ng easterlies o yung hanging nagmumula sa Dagat Pasipiko, possible pa din ang thunderstorms sa Mindanao at Kabisayaan kung saan nakakaapekto ang easterlies,” weather specialist Obet Badrina said.
However, Badrina said that warm weather will prevail in most parts of the country with possible rain showers due to the easterlies.
“Mainit na panahon ang mararanasan sa malaking bahagi ng ating bansa,” she added.
Possible flash floods or landslides are expected during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the entire archipelago will be slight to moderate.
