However, when he was not immediately granted permission to perform because many people had previously requested it, he announced himself as the police and began causing a disturbance and threatening fellow bar patrons. When Sacil revealed that he was a cop, the musician gently inquired about his identity or ID.

Based on the report, he became further enraged after being asked and threatened by everyone who stopped him. To avoid the situation from worsening, the bar summoned a responder from the Poblacion police Substation, who responded instantly and confronted the accused.

Instead of remaining silent, Sacil allegedly said to the responding cops, “Wala kaming pakialam sa inyo, criminologist kami!” We don’t know each other!”The suspects were apprehended after Sacil yelled at the responding police officers.

They were determined to be security guards rather than police officers. The suspects were charged with violating Revised Penal Code Articles 177 (Usurpation of Authority), 155 (Alarms and Scandals), and 151 (Resistance and Disobedience to a Person in Authority or the Agents of Such Person).
