Residents Beat Man for Mauling His Own Wife & Children
DAVAO CITY – A violent man is facing multiple charges after allegedly hitting his own wife and children in public.

Recently, the head of a household, identified as alias Nestor, is currently facing various charges after allegedly hitting his own wife and children under a flyover in Davao City’s Barangay Bunawan. The act of violence was captured on video.
According to a representative for the Davao City Police Office, the victims fled their residence after being evicted by the suspect. The culprit cruelly hits his own family while waiting for public transportation.
The culprit was mauled by residents who witnessed the incident. He will be charged for violating R.A. 9262, Violence Against Women and Children, and R.A. 7610, Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination.
VAWC charges range from one month and one day to 20 years of imprisonment and a penalty amount of P100,000 – P300,000. He would also be subjected to mandatory and psychological counseling and psychiatric treatment.
