Albert Martinez is Not Comfortable with Women Wearing Bikinis on Social Media
Veteran actor Albert Martinez claimed that he is against women wearing bikinis and flaunting their photos on social media.
According to Albert Martinez, one of the negative effects of social media is the publishing of women in bikinis when they are not appropriate. This because there are women in bikinis even if they are not on the beach. He is not comfortable with it, he claims, because he has daughters.
“Isa pang hindi ko masyadong gusto with social media is that I see more women posing in two-piece bikinis even if it’s not summer, even wala sa beach. I have daughters and I feel not comfortable with it,” said the actor in the Bandera interview.
As a parent, “The Iron Heart” mainstay has unsolicited advice for parents. He said the youth should be taught that life does not only revolve around social media.
“Maybe social media can enhance your career if you want to hit a goal. Promote yourself based on what you wanna be in your career. For example, you’re a good architect, post it. Show your work. You’re a good painter or you’re a good mechanic. It enhances your goal in life,” he said.
“But for social media to become your life, you’re addicted to likes, you’re addicted to subscriptions, it eats you up as a person. Again, this is just my opinion,” the actor added.
Apart from that, Albert feels that not everything that happens should be posted on social media, especially if it is a personal or family concern. Albert believes that social media has altered the trend in show business.
“As a whole, it changed the landscape of show business because now you can self-promote. Some use the social media platform as their sounding board which I believe shouldn’t be because you want the whole to know what’s going on with your life, about your thinking?” he noted.
