Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin shared that Nadine Lustre had “mapait” experience when she was with her former boyfriend actor James Reid.

The past relationship between James and Nadine became the talk of the town again due to the actor’s new relationship with Issa Pressman. Back in 2020, James and Issa, and the latter’s sister Yassi Pressman, denied the cheating allegation.

Three years after, James and Issa’s relationship became public and this did not sit well with many fans of Nadine. There were fans who decided to stop the JaDine fandom and just support Nadine.

In a recent episode of Cristy’s showbiz talk show, based on the article in Newsko, Nadine went through a lot during the time when she was in a relationship with James.

The veteran showbiz writer criticized the actor and his girlfriend now for denying their romance back then. Cristy believed that the cheating allegation against James and Issa after his breakup with Nadine was true.

“Noon puro kayo denial pero ngayon malinaw sa ilog at sa tubig ng batis na talagang ginhosting ni James si Nadine,” the showbiz writer said. She added that all of them shared a friendship but there was already betrayal behind the scenes. “Siya pala ay nilulunok na nang buung-buo ng kanyang boyfriend na si James Red pati ni Issa,” Cristy added.

Then, Cristy shared a story about what her friend in showbiz told her. It was about James Reid’s actions toward Nadine Lustre every time he would go out and spend time in a bar with his friends or probably with Issa Pressman.

Cristy said that James would tell Nadine: “You stay home tatawag ako thru your landline.” Allegedly, the actor would do this to make sure that the actress will not follow him to the bar. Cristy’s co-host Romel Chika said, “Minamanipula niya si Nadine dati.”

Amid the issue about her ex-boyfriend, Nadine Lustre appeared to be nonchalant. She recently shared a raw vlog featuring her “cute weekend.”
