Boy Abunda Talks About His Favorite Celebrity Interview & Dream Interviewee

BOY ABUNDA – King of Talk Boy Abunda disclosed his favorite interviews and dream interviewees.

Boy Abunda’s career in the GMA-7 network began in 1994 with the talk show ‘Show and Tell.’ His first showbiz-oriented program, Startalk, debuted in 1995. It was in 1999 when he decided to transfer to the ABS-CBN network.

The Kapuso network teased the return of an icon on December 7. This readily drew replies suggesting that this is about the King of Talk’s return to his first home network.

On December 15, this has become official. Boy Abunda inked a contract with GMA and the network’s officials gladly welcomed him. In his statement after the contract signing the prominent host also expressed gratitude for the warm greeting that he received. He called this “makapusong pagtanggap.”

The 67-year-old host has previously interviewed innumerable celebrities, both globally and locally. Recently, he revealed his favorite interviews and who he wants to have an interview with.

Boy Abunda shared that his favorite celebrity interviewees were Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez. When asked in a segment of the digital talk show Break Seven on GMA Pinoy TV who his favorite personality interviewee was, Boy responded, “First person that comes to mind is Angelina Jolie.”

Aside from Jolie, Boy also mentioned Jennifer Lopez. He said, “tatlong beses ko nang nakakapanayam si Jennifer Lopez, she’s very warm.”

Boy Abunda was also asked if he still have someone in mind for a hot seat interview. The host immediately mentioned Hilary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, and Barbara Walters.

He admitted that he sent emails to the three personalities inquiring about opportunities for interviews and introducing himself.
