EAT BULAGA – GMA network’s “Eat Bulaga” noontime show is accordingly going through something according to Cristy Fermin.

The Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga is the longest-running noontime program in Philippine television history. It premiered on July 30, 1979, and the first hosts were Tito SottoVic SottoJoey de Leon, Chiqui Hollman, and Richie D’Horsie.

In the current set of hosts, only Tito, Vic, and Joey stayed.

The others are Jose Manalo, Allan K., Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Pauleen Luna, Ryan Agoncillo, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Maine Mendoza, Maja Salvador, Miles Ocampo, Ruru Madrid, Bianca Umali and Carren Eistrup.

The hosts are known for their on-and-off cam friendship. Being together almost every day, they have built an admirable relationship with each other.

However, in the recent Cristy Ferminute show, the host revealed that the show is currently facing some internal issues. Accordingly, the show is a corporation managed by a lot of people and one of the executives is planning to remove this person from the show.

“Ang balita, merong isa na mahal na mahal natin, isang ehekutibo na gustong tanggalin si Paeng sa pamamahala ng programa,” she revealed.

The name of the executive was not revealed but she added in her story that if this person will be removed, the other hosts will allegedly follow.

“Kapag tinanggal yung pinagiinitan na ehekutibo at namumuhunan, sasama sila lahat sa tao na yun,” she said.

In a bling item post from PEP, a long-running show will be facing some rebranding and in the content of the post, certain words were mentioned. The words used seemingly dropped hints and the ending sentence was:

“Hopefully… ang pagbulaga ng pagbabago ay magbibigay ligaya sa mga kabarkada mula Mavulis Island ng Batanes hanggang Saluag Island sa Tawi-tawi.”
