Janella Salvador Explains ‘Higupan’ Scene W/ Joshua Garcia
JANELLA SALVADOR – Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador shared a story behind her viral “laplapan” scene with Darna co-star Joshua Garcia.
Joshua Garcia is now dubbed as ‘Higop King’, because of his passionate kissing scene with actress Janella Salvador in ‘Darna.’ Only a few moments passed after the said scene aired, and its video clip spread along with various comments from netizens.
In the said episode, Janella’s character Regina Vanguardia/Valentina was picked up at her office by an impostor who looked exactly like Brian (Joshua). The latter unexpectedly kissed Regina. The scene between Joshua and Janella can be seen on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, where Joshua licked, caressed, and s*cked Janella’s lips.
During the finale conference of ‘Darna,’ Janella Salvador shared a story about the trending kissing scene between her and Joshua Garcia. According to her, she and Joshua talked before doing the kissing scene. She said that they did not feel any awkwardness while kissing Joshua intensely.
According to the celebrity mom, she and Joshua didn’t need each other when they did this, because it wasn’t the first time they worked together.

Janella Salvador even laughed at a showbiz reporter’s poked question if they practiced before shooting it.
“Actually when we did it, hindi naman awkward kasi beforehand, pinag-usapan namin na ‘Oh, we’re gonna have a kissing scene,’ actually not just one kissing scene… basta malala pa siya, so first time ko ‘yon gawin on-screen…”
“But since comfortable naman ako kay Josh especially no’ng time na ‘yon, it wasn’t awkward naman. Naka-5 days kami…” she added.
