Fire Destroys Home of Comedian Mura

COMEDIAN MURA – Comedian Allan Padua a.k.a. Mura was left heartbroken after his house burned down.

The house of comedian Allan Padua, better known by his showbiz name Mura, burned down. Located in Purok 3, Sitio Abibling, Barangay Tupas, Ligao City, Albay, Mura’s home was engulfed in flames.

On the Facebook page of the news and public affairs program “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” Mura recounted what happened on the day of the fire.

The comedian managed to save only a cell phone and a storage box.

“Para akong natunaw. Sobrang nakakalungkot. Kasi sa isang iglap, nawala, e,” Mura said sadly.

Mura was first introduced as the “twin” of Mahal on the ABS-CBN’s former noontime show, “Magandang Tanghali Bayan,” in 2003. At that time, Mura was portrayed as a female, despite being male.

Like Mahal, Mura has a condition called dwarfism. Mura was given the opportunity to appear on TV programs and even in movies. He became the sidekick of Vhong Navarro in the films “Agent X44” (2007) and “SupahPapalicious” (2008).
