Chito Miranda Emotional After Watching ‘Buruguduystunstugudunstuy’

Chito Miranda shared this post about the play based on Parokya ni Edgar’s songs

Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda was emotional after watching the musical play Buruguduystunstugudunstuy.

After Ang Huling El Bimbo musical play, a play was made based on the songs of Parokya ni Edgar whose music has transcended from generation to generation. They were among the popular bands in the 1990s but their popularity remained until the current generation of music lovers.

In a recent post that Chito shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, he talked about his feelings after watching Buruguduystunstugudunstuy for the second time.

The PNE frontman shared that he and his bandmates were called up on stage and they had the chance to meet the cast and the people working behind the show.

Nung nilapitan ko sila para kamayan at magpasalamat, naiyak na naman ako tulad nung nameet ko yung cast ng El Bimbo…pero buti nalang talaga napigilan ko this time (baka sabihin nila ang arte ko naman masyado),” Chito Miranda said.

Watching this musical play made him emotional. “It’s just that everything about this musical was a super emotional experience for me,” the band vocalist admitted.

Chito pointed out that aside from the fact that the musical play itself made him emotional, he also had the “senti” feeling for hearing their songs being sung in a big production by talented singers. It is an ecstatic feeling for him that people who he never imagined would vibe with their songs are now appreciating their music.

He also said that his heart is filled with gratitude because they just started as a bunch of 4th-year high school students who were jamming with a couple of guitars and just fooling around.

Buong time na nanonood ako, ang saya saya ko lang kasi ang ganda ganda ng ginawa nila sa play,” he said.

Chito Miranda also shared that when it comes to Parokya ni Edgar stuff, he is very hands-on but when it comes to this musical play, he lets the production people make their own creative decisions for the songs. He is thankful that the production team did a great job.

Wala lang…ang galing lang talaga masyado. Maraming salamat talaga sa inyong lahat,” the PNE frontman said.
