TV Patrol Anchors Happy Over ABS-CBN-GMA Collab
TV PATROL ANCHORS – The veteran reporters of the Kapamilya news program reacted to the collaboration between the ABS-CBN and GMA-7.
The ABS-CBN and the GMA-7 are among the biggest networks in the Philippines. For years, the giants have been rival networks in shows and programs aired on free TV. Meanwhile, there were also projects like movies wherein Kapamilya and Kapuso stars worked together.
However, while some Kapamilya and Kapuso stars have worked together in one (1) project, most TV series featured either all-Kapamilya or all-Kapuso casts. Then, a collaboration between the two (2) giant networks for a TV series seemed impossible.
However, recently, it has been proven that such thing is really not impossible. ABS-CBN and GMA-7 is collaborating in a TV series together with Viu Philippines. The TV series entitled Unbreak My Heart will be aired in GMA-7 and the streaming app Viu.
Unbreak My Heart will be top-billed by Kapamilya stars Jodi Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia and Kapuso stars Gabbi Garcia and Richard Yap. Based on an article on Pep, it will also be aired in several territories outside the country.
After reporting about the collaboration of ABS-CBN and GMA-7 in a TV series, TV Patrol anchors reaction to the said collab. Based on the article, Karen Davila congratulated the two (2) networks for the partnership on the TV series.
Kabayan Noli de Castro said, “Kapamilyang may puso”, while Bernadette Sembrano said, “Kapusong may Kapamilya”. As for Henry Omaga-Diaz, he stressed that last year the collaboration seemed impossible to happen. The TV Patrol anchors said that the GMA-ABS-CBN collab is a proof that nothing is impossible.
