Female Student Arrested After Caught with Illegal Drug in Pangasinan

Police authorities arrested a 21-year-old female student during an anti-illegal drug operation in Pangasinan.

San Fabian police detained Noraida Darang, a resident of Barangay Sagud Bahley in San Fabian, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 1. When the suspect turned over a heat-sealed transparent plastic packet containing white crystalline grains of suspected shabu to the operative, he was apprehended.

Based on the report, Darang was also arrested with his mark money and a heat-sealed translucent plastic packet containing white crystalline granules of suspected shabu. The suspects and evidence have been taken to the San Fabian police station.

Meanwhile, in Naga City, authorities seized suspected shabu worth P13.6 million during a buy-bust operation. The suspects were able to sell suspected shabu worth P1.1 million to the agents.

The suspects, who lived in Sitio Uno, Patimbao, Santa Cruz, Laguna, were apprehended at around 9:11 p.m. on Diversion Road, Zone 5, Barangay Tabuco after selling drugs to a poseur buyer and an informant.

Authorities seized a bag containing 1,500 grams of suspected drugs, money, a sling bag carrying ammunition, and a wallet holding the suspects’ identification cards when they searched the suspects’ vehicles. Both the accused, a husband and wife, will face narcotics charges.
