Customer Airs Dismay Over Unexpected Increase in Prices of Mang Inasal

A male customer has expressed his disappointment over the sudden increase in menu prices of Mang Inasal “Laki kasi talaga ng tinaas”.

A Facebook user named Jerome Serrano has shared photos of the updated menu for a Mang Inasal branch in Navotas City. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the photo, Serrano shows the updated price for PM1 and PM2 unlimited rice meals. Paa Large (PM1) costs P125 for one rice and P160 for unli rice variant while Pecho Large (PM2) costs P145 for one rice and P180 for unli rice.

Meanwhile, the Todo Sold Meal including Pancit Palabok also increased. TSM1 solo costs P168 and TSM2 cost P188. Customers have to pay an additional P20 for drinks. Other menus have also increased as well.

Serrano expressed his disappointment due to the unexpected increase in his favorite meals. However, he said that price won’t matter because people still love Mang Inasal because of its high-quality foods.

“Nakakalungot lang kasi ang laki kasi talaga ng tinaas, nakakapanibago pero hindi naman siguro makaka-epekto since marami parin talagang nag pa-patronize sa Mang Inasal,” Jerome said.

The picture has been taken on January 17, 2023. He even reposted his old picture eating at the said fast-food chain and captioned it “Mamimiss kita Unli Rice”.
