MATET DE LEON – The meeting of Matet de Leon and Nora Aunor warms netizens’ hearts.
Superstar Nora Aunor has a biological son, actor Ian de Leon with her former husband, actor Christopher de Leon. Actors Matet de Leon, Lotlot Kiko, and Kenneth de Leon are the ex-couple’s adopted children.
Last December, Matet aired her frustration over business issues with her adoptive. The veteran actress put up a ‘tuyo’ business that “directly competed” with Matet’s business.
Matet de Leon said that she felt “betrayed” by Nora Aunor and that her mom does not treat her as her own child. She even vowed never to talk to her again.
During a live stream on her YouTube channel last Jan. 7, the 39-year-old celebrity said she has mended the rift between her and her mother. Mater said that her promise never to talk to her mom again was just an outburst of anger.
She then denied rumors that her conflict with Nora was merely a “gimmick.” Matet said that those close to her are aware that she is incapable of pulling such a stunt.
“Kami ni mommy ko ay nagkaayos na. Nakita na nila, nag-upload na ng video si Kuya John. I think I spoke too soon when I said I didn’t want to talk to her anymore… See what anger can do?” said Matet.

Just recently, actor-singer John Rendez shared the video of the mother and daughter meeting again after Nora invited Matet to John’s birthday celebration. According to Matet, talked before the new year when Nora started chatting.
It can be seen in the video that Matet was with his youngest son when his mommy greeted them before they entered the house where John’s birthday celebration was being held.
