Myrtle Sarrosa Admits She Lost Her Love Life Because She Chose Video Games Over Ex-boyfriend
MYRTLE SARROSA – Actress-cosplayer Myrtle Sarrosa admitted she lost her love life because she chose video games over her ex-boyfriend.
Myrtle Sarrosa is a Pinay cosplayer, actress, singer, and tv host. She came to prominence after winning ABS-CBN’s reality show “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4.” She appeared in several films such as “The Annulment,” “Papa Pogi,” and “Block Z.”
The actress has shared her thoughts about her failure to reach stardom. She said she had thought of quitting showbiz because she did not reach the same stardom as her PBB Big Winners Kim Chiu, Ejay Falcon, and Melai Cantiveros. She transferred to the Kapuso network last February 2020.
PEP spoke exclusively with Myrtle Sarrosa when she was launched as the new ambassador of Guitar Apparel through a show at Fisher Mall, Quezon City, on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. During the interview, she said she now prefers to focus on being a video gamer rather than making a movie because of the unique fulfillment she feels. Besides, she also chose video games more than love life.
Myrtle’s “love affair” with video games began due to the lack of things to do and distractions when the coronavirus pandemic began in March 2020.
“Of course, sa start ng pandemic, wala talagang ginagawa. It was very sad, nalungkot talaga ako.
“All I did was basically play video games, an entire year hanggang sa medyo naubos ko na yung lahat ng mga inipon ko.”

Myrtle Sarrosa was also asked if she earns money in her hobby. “Dahil naging endorser ako ng maraming brands, kasi mas ina-acknowledge nila ako sa games, I would say yes, because you are actually making a name for yourself because of the video games,” she answered.
The 27-year-old celebrity also admitted that she lost her love life because she chose video games over her ex-boyfriend. But she showed no sign of regret in her subsequent statements.
“Hindi naman siya nagalit pero ako na yung nagsabi sa kanya na, ‘I don’t think with my time, may oras pa ako sa relationships, kasi I’d rather play games.
“Noong una, hindi niya naiintindihan, pero naintindihan niya rin and he let me go.
“Hindi naman sa hindi ko siya totoong mahal. Siguro there comes a point in time in life na there are things na more valuable sa ‘yo,” she added.
The actress-cosplayer also shared considers coffee to be her body’s fuel to keep her energetic even though she experiences sleepless nights due to gaming.
