Myrtle Sarrosa is Now a Kapuso Star!
MYRTLE SARROSA – PBB Teen Edition 4 big winner Myrtle Sarrosa just signed a contract with the GMA-7.
Filipina actress, cosplayer, singer and tv host Myrtle Sarrosa got her showbiz break after winning ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 4 in 2012. She then became one of Star Magic Angels.
The 25-year-old celebrity starred on several films such as “Block Z,” “Ang Henerasyong Sumoko sa Love,” “Papa Pogi” and “The Annulment” among others. In a previous article, she compared her career to other winners of PBB.
Myrtle Sarrosa revealed her thoughts regarding her failure to reach stardom. She said she had thought of quitting her showbiz career because she did not reach the same stardom like Kim Chiu, Ejay Falcon, and Melai Cantiveros.
“Minsan, oo. Kasi I’m a strong person, pero minsan, I become weak as well na parang…the hardest part of showbiz is the moment na you have a job and tomorrow you don’t. And sometimes, parang naging weak ka rin, e, na parang…naiiyak na naman ako,” she said.
On February 21, Myrtle Sarrosa signed an exclusive contract with the Kapuso network. The new GMA star took to Instagram to express her gratitude to the tv network. She vowed that she will not waste that opportunity.
“Starting a new chapter in my life. For a long time, I was really praying for guidance but what I [didn’t] know was that God was working in mysterious ways to prepare me and bring people in my life to open doors of blessings and opportunities,” she wrote.
Aside from acting, she is known for being a singer-songwriter, cosplayer, and gamer. She graduated cum laude at the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2017.
