Will Ejay Falcon enter politics?
Actor Ejay Falcon appeared to be hinting that he is planning to run for a local position in Oriental Mindoro in the 2022 elections.
Ejay is not the first celebrity being rumored or have confirmed to run in the coming elections. Actress Aiko Melendez already expressed that she wants to serve again while she sort of confirmed that actor Arjo Atayde will also enter politics.
Based on the article in the Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub, recent photos of Ejay showed that he is already visiting remote areas in his home province. Reportedly, he was with incumbent Governor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor.
In a video posted on the official Facebook account of the Governor, Ejay Falcon can be seen asking support from the people there. “Iyong sigaw at excitement ninyo, sana po madala natin ‘yan pagdating ng tamang panahon, ang suporta ninyo. Kayo pong lahat dito, sana po suportahan niyo kami. Kaya po kami nandito ngayon, nagkakaisa, at nagpapakilala po sa inyo,” the actor said. He added that people can look at him not as a celebrity but as their fellow Mindoreño who wants to serve them.
Ejay started his career in the entertainment industry through the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2008. He was hailed as the Big Winner in that edition and from this, he was given various projects under the management of ABS-CBN. Among the series he starred in that boosted his acting career were Pasión de Amor, Wildflower, The Blood Sisters, and Sandugo.
With these recent photos of Ejay Falcon showing that he is visiting different areas in his home province, it appeared that he is planning to embrace a new journey in his life and it is leading to public service.
