Herlene Budol talked about her leading man in her new Kapuso series
Beauty queen-actress Herlene Budol revealed that she felt shy around her leading men Benjamin Alves and Rob Gomez in her new Kapuso series Magandang Dilag.
Buboy Villar is also part of the afternoon prime series but he was able to work already with Herlene in the series False Positive. In a previous article, it was said that Herlene resumed the shooting for this series after her unsuccessful pageant stint in Uganda.
Before going to the said county for the Miss Planet International 2022 pageant, Herlene was able to shoot some scenes already but it was put to junked because reportedly, the prosthetics that were used on her face weren’t approved.
In a recent interview on the Updated With Nelson Canlas podcast, Herlene Budol expressed admiration for her leading man. “Si Rob Gomez, parang ganito ‘yung character niya, nagagawa niya kahit wala pang camera. Lalong-lalo na si Benjamin Alves, ang lupit!” she said.
The actress also admitted that she was “nahihiya” and it is because of her worry that she might have an unpleasing odor during their shoot. “At saka nahihiya ako baka ang baho ng hininga ko kasi parang may mga ganyan, kasi parang first time ko din ho talaga [magkaroon] ng seryosong love team, hindi ‘yung parang siraulo na kami lang dalawa ni Buboy,” the beauty queen-actress enthused.
Then, Herlene shared that during their workshop, they did the nose-to-nose exercise and she felt awkward at that time. She said that she was really shy even though she brushed her teeth already, chew a lot of bubble gums, and even sprayed her mouth with breath freshener. “Parang hala, nakakahiya,” she said.
Meanwhile, Herlene Budol expressed gratitude to her home network for giving her the opportunity to be the “bida” in a series. She is thankful for the trust that GMA has given to her. The beauty queen-actress also commended her talented characters who are already in character even before the take.
