Parents Files Petition to Oust Teacher in SoCot for Being “Super Strict”
A group of parents filed a petition to oust a teacher in South Cotabato school for allegedly being “super strict” with students.
At the Tantangan National Trade High School (TNTHS) in South Cotabato, a number of parents have banded together to demand the firing of a teacher. The parents claim that the instructor in question is very strict in her teachings.
A tarpaulin with the appeal to oust the teacher was posted right in front of the school’s entrance, based on the photos. According to the aforementioned group, among their many grievances against the teacher is her alleged threat to fail her students due to her strictness.
“Sa ngalan ng mga magulang at mag-aaral ng Tantangan National Trade High School, nakikiusap kami na paalisin nyo po ang guro na nagsisilbing SALOT at PESTE sa nasabing paaralan,” according to the group.
The teacher is rumored to also loan his kids food, and if they don’t pay, he would expel them. They also took issue with the teacher who sent one of the children home due to his hairstyle.
“Sinisira nya po ang reputasyon ng aming school sa aming barangay hinahanapan nya po ng kamailan at isusumbong sa itaas. Alam po ng Kapitan namin ang ugali nya na naninira ng pangalan ng school. Isa po siyang LASON sa mga kabataan,” the group said.
The DepEd has not yet released a comment in response to the aforementioned call. The internet community is anticipating Mrs. Paterno’s reaction to their demands for her resignation. A few online users defended the teacher against the charges made by the group. A kid claims that Mrs. Paterno is a stern teacher who also wants her students to succeed academically and stand out in the class.
