Two years after split with Derek Ramsay, Andrea Torres is now ready to love again.
ANDREA TORRES – Two years have already passed and Kapuso actress Andrea Torres shared that she is finally ready for another relationship.
Two years have passed already since Andrea Torres and Derek Ramsay announced their separation. Their relationship lasted for only a year, the shortest relationship of the actor. It was a publicized split but the details about it such as the reason why were not disclosed.
The former couple was very careful about matters about the split. But one thing is for sure, it was a bad breakup. In a previous article, the reason for her silence about the split is because of her mindset. She will accordingly gain nothing if she will do it.
“For me lang, walang maidudulot na mabuti kung magbigay pa ako ng details kung bakit kami nag-break,” Andrea said. The actor initiated the breakup and it was done over a phonecall.
After the split, she suffered from depression and if there’s one thing she learned from this painful experience, that is to love herself more. She learned self-love and she was able to build a strong relationship with the Lord.
And now, two years after it happened, she shared that she is now ready to love again.
She’s open to dating and meeting new people but back then, she was not ready for love. She is not doing it for the sake of finding a partner. Actually, whenever she meets someone and feels like they are better off as just friends, she makes it clear right away to the person. It’s not her character to give false hopes.
And now, she is finally ready to be in a relationship again. She is ready to love again only that she’s uncertain about one thing which is settling down.
“Sa ngayon, parang hindi pa ready [to settle down]. Feeling ko kasi nagkaroon ako ng second chance, second wave sa career ko kasi ang daming nangyayari, so gusto ko lang i-grab yung binibigay sa akin na opportunity,” she said based on a report from PEP.
Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend Derek is now married to Ellen Adarna, Last November 11, they celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
