Andrea Torres shared what she learned after her breakup with Derek Ramsay
Kapuso actress Andrea Torres revealed the reason why she chose not to speak about her breakup with actor Derek Ramsay.
After a year of being together, Andrea and Derek confirmed their breakup. In a previous statement, the actor said that he and the actress faced a problem that highlighted their differences when it comes to their values.
The actor also revealed that he initiated the breakup and he did that over a phone call. However, Andrea contradicted that claim of the actor. Amid the issue, the actress was not giving her side of the story regarding their breakup.
In a recent interview on Toni Talks, the YouTube talk show of actress-host Toni Gonzaga, Andrea Torres was asked about her breakup with Derek Ramsay. The Kapuso actress said the breakup has made her relationship with the Lord stronger.
“Super pray talaga ako, kasi siyempre parang paano ba ‘to?” she said. It is because there were people who got angry because she remained silent about the issue. The actress stressed that she had no intention to push people to bash Derek.
However, she believed that whatever she will say will no longer do any good. “For me lang, walang maidudulot na mabuti kung magbigay pa ako ng details kung bakit kami nag-break,” Andrea said.
She added that it was obvious that it was not a good breakup and so on her part, it is already enough for her that she was able to talk to the people who were involved. When asked what she learned from the heartbreak, Andre Torres said “to love myself more.”
The actress also shared that she went through a phase in her life when she was really down. At that time, she did not feel motivated to do anything. She said that this was far from the Andrea that she knows who is a cheerful woman who loves to embrace positivity. Eventually, her faith took her out of that phase.
