This is the reason why Derek Ramsay spoke about his breakup with Andrea Torres
Hunk actor Derek Ramsay revealed the reason why he divulged the reason for his breakup with actress Andrea Torres after a year of being together.
Derek’s relationship with Andrea is the second shortest past relationship he had but in spite of that, the fans of their AnDrek tandem anticipated that they would tie the knot. However, that anticipation from the fans crumbled when Derek confirmed that he and Andrea ended their relationship already.
In a recent interview with veteran showbiz reporter/columnist Cristy Fermin, the hunk actor shared the reason why he broke up with the actress. Derek Ramsay revealed that he was the one who initiated the breakup over the phone, the same as what happened in his past relationship with Angelica Panganiban.
The actor explained that a problem came between them and they had different values towards it. After reports surfaced about the said interview of Derek, Andrea shared an intriguing post about “karma” on her Instagram account which garnered speculation that it as her way of answering the statement of her ex-boyfriend.
In a recent interview with GMANetwork.com, Derek shared the reason why he decided to speak about his breakup with Andrea. He said, “I did not really speak about it. ‘Di ako nagbanggit ng mga detalye, respeto ko ‘yun kay Andrea and sa parents ni Andrea. It’s just that Tita Cristy ask me the other day kung may kinalaman ba ang parents ni Andrea and I just answered honestly.”
He added that he has always been honest and that he did not reveal the details. Derek also stressed that the family of Andrea is not just the reason of their split. The actor reiterated the difference that they have when it comes to the values they observe.
Derek Ramsay said that he wanted to end this issue that was why he spoke. “Siguro nabanggit ko na kasi gusto ko na matahimik na lang, e, Kasi, I’m in a relationship now, I’m getting married, so I just want it all to be over and done with. I wake up every morning to all this stuff, ‘di ba, about that, parang I guess I just I want to put it to rest para matapos na,” he said.
He added that there were already a lot of lies and hurtful words being thrown at her and his family and so he saw the interview with Cristy Fermin as an opportunity to share his truth.
