Social Media Influencer Otlum Peejay dela Cruz Nabbed for Stealing Mobile Phone
The social media influencer Peejay dela Cruz or popularly known as Otlum has been nabbed for stealing a mobile phone.
Nowadays, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities.
The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.
A Facebook user named Josua Esquivel has shared the video footage of Peejay dela Cruz stealing a mobile phone from a bakery. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that Otlum pretended as a customer while choosing goods from an establishment. The store attendant entertained and served him. However, the store employee accidentally left his mobile phone atop the crystal display.
After a few moments, the vlogger immediately took the mobile phone after finding an opportunity to perform his illegal activity. The authorities were able to corner and nab the influencer.
Unfortunately, the online personality denied the accusations against him and urged the complainant to review the CCTV. Based on the footage, the vlogger steals the mobile phone, which proves his crime.
However, Otlum repeatedly denied the accusations against them. Dela Cruz assumed that no one owns the phone and take it without hesitation.
