Cops Arrest Male Suspect for Stealing Motorcycle in Santa Ana, Manila

The police authorities arrested a male suspect who was involved on stealing a motorcycle in Santa Ana, Manila.

Nowadays, the increasing rate of criminalities have been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various countries all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to poverty.

The government are imposing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities

Male Suspect

The Pandacan Police Station launched a manhunt operation and arrested 46-year-old male suspect identified as Ruben Engracial for stealing a motorcycle. He was arrested on his own residence.

Deputy station commander Pmaj. Geo Colibao reported that the suspect is involved in a carnapping incident. He also said that witnesses identified Engracial and its colleague who is currently at large.

“Sa modus naman ng mga to, kaya kung nakaparada yung motor nagawa nilang madistrongka para ma carnap, sa kasamaang palad nakilala sila ng mga witnesses kaya nasampahan po sila ng kaso na anti-carnapping,” Colibao said.

Engracial revealed that his colleague just invited him to steal a motorcycle. The suspect reiterated that he is innocent was just involved to the crime of his colleague.

“Pagbaba niya nakita ko parang sinususi yung motor ayun umalis na ako kasi kinakabahan ako na kukunin niya yung motor, ayun umuwi na ako,” Ruben said.

The suspect would face charges for violating the anti-carnapping act.
