Content Creator Ninong Ry Share his Experiences Working in wet Market

NINONG RY- The content creator share his life experience by working in wet market as palengke vendor to a YouTube vlogger.

Ryan “Ninong Ry” Reyes Morales is a chef that share his skills to help his home cook audience with different types of foods and posted it on his social media accounts. He is also featured as the first calendar model of “White Castle”- a local whiskey brand.

Based on the report of PUSH, News anchor Karen Davila interviewed Ninong Ry and the content creator open up about his life experiences as palengke vendor.

“Ang pagtitinda sa palengke, it taught me na there is no job beneath you. Lahat ng trabaho, gagawin mo ‘yan,” he said.

The report also mentioned that, Ninong Ry also addressed about the words that other people say about him, that he is graduate from prestigious school but just working as a vendor in market.

“May naririnig kasi ako dati na, ‘Uy, graduate ng La Salle ‘yan, pero nagtitinda na lang sa palengke ngayon.’ Sa loob-loob ko, ang pagtitinda sa palengke ang nagpaaral sa akin, so hindi ito nakakahiyang bagay. Mas naaawa ako sa ‘yo kasi ganoon ‘yung tingin mo, masyadong makitid ang tingin mo sa mundo,” he said.

Ninong Ry graduated as Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts in De La Salle- College of Saint Benilde. He said that he love doing his crafts without judgement and without fear that is what matter for him.

Ninong Ry no longer works in the market and now creates material for YouTube full-time. At the present time, his mother is in charge of running their business at the palengke.Ninong Ry discussed his decision to start vlogging in the same interview.

In fact, Ninong Ry noted, there are similarities between his previous job as a vendor at a wet market and his current role as a content creator. He can now also pay debts because of his income in vlogging.

“Para rin siyang content creation dahil kailangan mong may personality. Buhay na buhay ang suki system. Para magkaroon ka ng suki, kailangan may recall ka, kailangan maalala ka nila. Kailangan kahit pumunta sila ng palengke para bumili ng isda, pag-uwi nila manok ‘yung dala nila,” he said.
