Sara Duterte Statement To Families Of Karding PH Victims

Vice President Sara Duterte condoles with the families who lost a loved one during the onslaught of Karding PH.

SARA DUTERTE – PH Vice President Sara Duterte issues a statement regarding the victims of Typhoon Karding (Noru).

Typhoon Karding (Noru) is moving away from the Philippines and is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday evening, September 26. However, while it moves away from PAR, the southwest monsoon or hanging habagat brings rain to several parts of the country such as western parts of Southern Luzon and the Visayas.

In a 5 pm bulletin from Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the typhoon is already 425 kilometers west of Dagupan City, Pangasinan. It is moving to the West Philippine Sea at 30 kilometers per hour (km/h), going to Vietnam.

At the height of the onslaught, on the other hand, Signal No. 5 was the highest wind signal raised, and the typhoon left many areas flooded and in distress. There were also numerous people killed during the onslaught.

And condoling with the family of the killed typhoon victims is current Vice President Sara Duterte whose thoughts and prayers are with the affected people. She also offers condolences to the family that lost a loved one.

In the statement, she assured the people that President Bongbong Marcos is “on top of the situation”. The administration is also in coordination with “national agencies and local government units to ensure immediate response and efficient delivery of relief services”.
