Donation Drive for Museo Pambata Organize by BTS ARMY to Celebrate RM’s Birthday
BTS Army established a fundraising drive for Museo Pambata to celebrate the famous korean boy-group BTS leader RM.
On September 12, RM the art enthusiast, spokesperson and main rapper of BTS whose real name is Kim Namjoon celebrated his birthday with a purpose.
Based on the report of GMA News that According to the fanbase of RM the main target of this fund raising is the brainchild of Joon Brides Philippines.
“A close-knit group of Filipino ARMYs brought together by a shared admiration for BTS leader RM,” they said.
The project, Donate For Youth, aims to sponsor 100 children to attend the reopening of Museo Pambata, the first immersive children’s museum in the nation, which is located on Roxas Boulevard.
“The song ‘For Youth’ is about BTS’ gratitude to ARMYs, whose support has made their youth unforgettable. Let’s help create special memories for 100 Filipino kids by sponsoring their visit on the reopening of Museo Pambata on September 25!” The fanbase said.
The report mentioned that the group’s post indicates that they have already raised P20,391 as of Monday. With each ticket costing P450, their goal is to reach P45,000. The museum will receive all earnings.
The contribution channels are active until September 25 and may be found on the museum’s Twitter page. RM is a patron of the arts in addition to being the leader of the most famous group in the world. RM posts about his visits to museums, his favorite artwork, and his own collection on his Instagram profile.
The New York Times recently conducted an interview with RM on his passion for art and the significance of supporting South Korean artists because he is so deeply ingrained in the art community.
