Devon said that the show has a beautiful concept that is really well thought of. She is happy that Pinoys now have this kind of show. In the same interview, the actress shared what she experienced when she stayed in South Korea for quite a while.

Devon Seron shared that there was an instance when she was supposed to buy earphones in a store, as she was computing the equivalent price on Philippine peso, the cashier, a woman who was older than her suddenly grabbed the earphones from her hand and return the item to the rack. The actress insisted that she will buy the earphones.

She had this same experience when she and her friends went to a restaurant. Even though there were many vacant seats, the old woman shooed them away. “Nagtataka rin kami kung bakit kami pinalalabas nung matandang babae ganung may bakante naman at itinataboy kami papalabas,” Devon Seron said.

It was said that elderly people in South Korea would have this kind of reaction to foreigners because of the language barrier. Since they can’t communicate in English, they will just choose not to sell anything.

However, the actress stressed that millennials in South Korea are amiable since most of them understand and know how to speak English.
