Liza Soberano is ready to explore her career in music
Actress Liza Soberano shared updates about her music career that she is set to focus on next year.
Liza is spreading her wings internationally. It has been her dream to have a career in Hollywood and she is now having her first movie in the States. It was recently announced that Liza is part of the movie Lisa Frankenstein.
Aside from the U.S., the Filipino-American actress was also spotted in South Korea and Hawaii these past months. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Liza also opened up about her music career.
“I’m also going to be working on my music career early next year. I’ve been already listening to a bunch of demo songs that are both careless and transparent arts,” she said.
She is now being managed by James Reid‘s Careless Music. Previously, Liza Soberano said that her music career is something that she wants to focus on with her new management because many people do not know this part of her skill set.
Liza also shared that her representatives in the States have been negotiating with artists who she can collaborate with. She said that she has been “building organic relationships with these artists and celebrities.” The actress also said that she hopes she can share more details about this soon.
When Liza went to South Korea, she bonded with Korean hip-hop stars na si Jay Park ng GOT7, Bambam, DK ng IKON, and Hoony. Because of this, her fans anticipated that they will collaborate. That was when she knew she got a role in her first Hollywood movie.
Liza, together with James, was also seen with social media stars Bella Poarch and Bretman Rock. “The whole point of me trying to network and meet all these amazing people is just to build these organic relationships with them so if they’re interested in working with me, it will be a natural and fun process for both parties,” she shared.
Liza Soberano stressed that a big part of who is is Filipino but she also wants to be recognized as a global actress and artist. Then, she wants to be recognized for her craft and as someone who represents the Philippines and the Filipinos.
