Netizen Slams Disrespectful Motorists For Not Giving Courtesy to Pedestrians
A concerned netizen berated the rude drivers who don’t know how to be considerate to pedestrians.
The Philippine government is currently enforcing stricter rules and regulations across the nation in an effort to regulate traffic and stop the increasing number of accidents.
The traffic authorities in the Philippines also issued instructions to drivers to be courteous to pedestrians crossing the street. To help pedestrians navigate, pedestrian lanes have been put in place.
The Facebook page VISOR has shared the video footage of a car driver who stopped to give way to a pedestrian but other motorists do not know to give courtesy. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, a driver can be seen slowly traveling down the road before coming to a stop when he notices a resident crossing the pedestrian lane. The latter attempted to cross the lane but was met with resistance from drivers in the other lane.
The female pedestrian moved cautiously as she slowly made her way across the street. Later, the latter was successful in safely crossing the street. After the pedestrian crossed over, the driver left right away.
